Today marks the 13th anniversary of one of the biggest natural disasters in Japan, the 3/11 Tōhoku Earthquake and Tsunami, and the following Fukushima meltdown.
It’s hard to imagine the amount of destruction and the thousands of people who were lost during those horrible few days. And it makes our hearts turn towards the thousands of people similarly affected by the recent Noto Earthquake that occurred in Ishikawa Prefecture on New Years Day this year.
In remembrance of all those affected by the Tōhoku Earthquake, we’d like to encourage everyone to donate to the cause in Ishikawa. You can donate directly to the US Japanese Embassy or other establishments listed on their website who are directly involved in the recovery efforts: https://www.us.emb-japan.go.jp/itpr_en/donation-noto.html
