PNWJETAA will very kindly be covering 100% of transportation costs for Portland attendees. They’ll also be reimbursing Portland folks for the cost of tickets to their annual Shinnenkai, taking place later the same day. For those interested, Shinnenkai registration can be found here.
What is Iron Chef? It’s an event where PNWJETAA and JETAA Portland go head-to-head in a group kitchen using a secret ingredient. Guest judges from the Japanese community will be on hand to award accolades, brownie points, and bragging rights! Don’t want to compete? Just bring a potluck dish to share and watch the competition unfold! Pack your portable ohashi… itadakimasu!
