President
Rob Dulay (Sapporo-shi, 1997-2000)
Rob is running to continue to expand/create more opportunities for Alums to be involved in more Japanese activities/groups and partner in activities with JASO, PSSCA, and other organizations in OR. Want to be more of a resource for current and new Alums just returning back. He is also running to be a resource for future JETs to better understand what they will get into and create more partnerships with the other Alum Associations in the US and around the world. He wants to make sure that no matter where you are in the world, you have your JETAA family to help and support you. His desire to run as president comes from a desire to feel more connected to the JET Program and fellow Alums like before (hopefully run into my JET family from where I was in Japan) and get the opportunity to share what I learned and swap stories. Opening opportunities for others is always a passion.
Vice President
OPEN
Treasurer
Lindsay Amor (Aomori-ken, Hachinohe-shi, 2008-2013)
Lindsay is running to identify and encourage new activities to attract new and returning participants. Being an officer would mean that she can continue the presence of JETAA in Portland and hold it steady as we try to recover from our recent participation decline due to the pandemic.
Secretary
Lila Klopfenstein (Nagasaki-ken, 2017-2020)
Lila Klopfenstein is running for secretary for the second time to give back to the JET community. In addition to completing secretarial duties, she hopes to continue to hold JET related events in Idaho to support individuals interested in JET and Japan.
