Iron Chef 2015 – Seattle Edition

Our 13th annual Iron Chef Cooking Competition will be hosted by our friends at the Pacific Northwest JETAA chapter in Seattle, WA! Every year Seattle sends several members to Portland to participate in our Iron Chef competition, now it’s our turn to make the trip up north and battle for the top prizes in this year’s cook-off. Like always, we will be cooking with a very special secret ingredient – check back soon to find out what this year’s ingredient will be!

There are four categories for Iron Chef entries:

  • Side Dish
  • Main Dish
  • Dessert
  • Battle with Seattle (team cook-off)

There will be prizes awarded to the 1st and 2nd place winners in each of the three categories. So put on your aprons, sharpen those knives, and bring your best recipes – Allez Cuisine!

When: November 14th, 2015 (Saturday)

Where: Nisei Veteran’s Memorial Hall – 1212 S. King Street, Seattle

Time: 3PM – 6PM

RSVP: Please contact Veronica by Saturday, November 7th if you plan to attend Iron Chef Seattle. We may be able to organize carpooling if needed. There are also a limited number of tatami timeshare options available, so if you are interested in spending Saturday night in Seattle please let us know. Also, if you are interested in cooking for Team Portland in the Battle for Seattle we’d love to hear from you!
