Casting Real People in the PDX Japanese Community

By admin

Krista Hershberger is casting REAL PEOPLE for a photoshoot by Michael Jones Studios, Inc. They’re paying $100 per person for a 1 hour photoshoot in a variety of locations around Portland. See below for the details she has provided.

These images will be used by the US Census Bureau Regional Offices to promote and encourage participation in the 2020 Census. All your information will be kept confidential by Michael Jones Studios. Only the US Census Bureau will be using the images.

This is such an important project because participation in the Census determines representation and funding for our community. We’re aiming to encourage people of ALL ages, genders, colors, and sizes to participate in the Census. That means this photoshoot needs individuals and families of ALL ethnicities and ALL cultures, including children, the elderly, students, veterans, the differently abled, LGBTQIA+, those without homes, employed and unemployed – people from all communities and all backgrounds.
